Drone Commander adds to fleet
Cambooya-based agricultural business Drone Commander has expanded its fleet by adding a DJI AGRAS T20 Spraying Drone.
Drone Commander principal Roger Woods said the T20 in DJI AGRAS T20 signifies that it has a capacity of 20 litres or kilograms.
“It is double the capacity of our other drones,” Mr Woods said.
“It has very high levels of technology.
“We can cover a much larger area in much shorter time.”
The new drone can cover six hectares an hour, which is better than double the amount Drone Commander’s previous drones could cover.
Mr Woods said Drone Commander has been given permission to use the new drone commercially by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
“They came and tested us on our farm at Cambooya. CASA granted us approval to use the DJI AGRAS T20 commercially,” he said.
