Clifton welcomes new business owners

As of a few weeks ago, Nutrien Harcourts Clifton is under the ownership of husband and wife Ian and Kellie Brady.

Despite the new ownership, there are all still familiar faces at Nutrien Harcourts Clifton. From left: Eugene Hollis-Neath, Rachel Grice, Ian Brady, Kellie Brady and Sonia Handford.

To celebrate the occasion, the new owners held a special evening on Monday night attended by friends, associates and local business people.

The Bradys purchased the business from previous owner Peter Cooke, for whom they both worked for the last few years.

As Mr Cooke had been mostly working out of his Pittsworth office, Ian and Kellie already have a lot of experience with running the Clifton office.

The team of people they have been working with daily are also continuing under the new ownership.

Mr Brady said he has been overwhelmed with the support he has received from the public already.

“The response from the broader community has been amazing,” Mr Brady said.

“It’s means a lot to me when people stop me on the street to congratulate us.”

As a real estate agency with an office in town, Mr Brady stressed the importance of maintaining strong, local connections with locals and local businesses supporting one another.

For instance, the evening was catered for by Top Paddock Catering, based in Pilton.

Looking to the future, Mr Brady said he has been working on having a mortgage broker set up in Clifton, working with them, which will be a great boost for the community.

He said all going well, the broker will be operational in January next year.
