Relieving principal at High School

Clifton High Principal Lou Oberholzer will spend Term 2 of the 2021 year at Highfields Secondary College

There’ll be a new face in the Principal’s office when students and staff return to Clifton State High School for Term 2 of 2021.

Jenni Peters, who is the Deputy Principal at Toowoomba State High School will spend the entire term at Clifton.

The change comes because Clifton High’s Principal, Lou Oberholzer, will be relieving Principal at Highfields State Secondary College for the ten weeks of Term 2.

However he will be back. “The Clifton community and the school are my passion and I will be returning in Term 3, 2021 to continue the great work we are doing here,” Mr Oberholzer said.

He urged the school’s staff, students and the community to make Ms Peters welcome.

“I am sure that we will all benefit from the experience that will be forthcoming from this different context,” Mr Oberholzer said.

“We are all life long learners and this will give all of us a different perspective and an opportunity to learn from each other.”
