Ciesiolka returns to Broncos side
Following her success in 2020, former local Shenae Ciesiolka has returned to the Brisbane Broncos squad.
She has been recently signed to the 2021 team alongside five other premiership players Chelsea Lenarduzzi, Julia Robinson, Tallisha Harden, Lauren Brown.
Broncos NRL Women’s Coach Kelvin Wright told broncos.com.au that Ciesiolka and the other new signings perfectly fit the Broncos team culture.
“Chelsea, Julia, Tallisha, Lauren and Shenae bring talent, work ethic and experience but most importantly they buy into our team-first approach
in everything we do,” he said.
“All five players have key roles in our team – Chelsea and Tallisha provide strength and experience in the pack, Julia and Shenae speed and strike out wide, and Lauren has great versatility and skill in playing a range of positions.”
The Broncos aim to continue where they left off after winning the 2020 Premiership over the high calibre Sydney Roosters.
The NRL Telstra Women’s Premiership kicks off in August.
The foundation sides Broncos, Dragons and Roosters will be joined by new NRLW teams Parramatta, Gold Coast and Newcastle.
