Clifton Polocrosse Club attracted good support for its carnival on Saturday and Sunday, 30 April and 1 May.
Players travelled from a wide area of Queensland and a contingent from Albury-Holbrook in southern New South Wales took advantage of the Clifton event to give their horses a run
ahead of the big Barastoc Interstate Series and Shell Cup carnival being staged in Warwick this coming weekend, May 6th, 7th and 8th.
Players at the Clifton carnival included five members of the Australian team.
The two-day event at Clifton covered a wide range of skills with competition ranging from junior games through to A Grade.
