$1,000 cheque for Frannies
Triple M Toowoomba breakfast announcer Lee Faulkner visited St. Francis de Sales School last week to present a $1,000 cheque, sponsored by Harvey Norman.

The cheque was made possible through student Eve, who recently appeared on the station’s ‘Weather Kid Wednesday’ segment where she read out the day’s weather.
This segment has raised money for many schools in the Toowoomba area.
While visiting the school, Lee spoke to the students about his journey getting on the radio and to Triple M in Toowoomba, where he has worked for 20 years.
Students were also able to ask Lee questions.
Lee’s most important lesson for the students was to remember they have two ears and one mouth, highlighting the importance of listening.
Students and staff have been busy brainstorming what good use the money could be spent on.
