A smoking wreck
Oakey firies were called to Donely Street in the early hours of Friday morning as a Mazda BT 50 went up in smoke.

Fire crews were called out to the address at 2 o’clock on Friday morning after responding to reports of a car on fire.
A nearby resident reported that the smell issuing from the bonnet was extremely unpleasant.
No structures were damaged or under threat.
Police and ambulance services were on standby during the incident.
The fire was extinguished by 2.45am.
The owner of the Mazda BT 50 vehicle, who did not wish to be named, said he was asleep at the time the fire broke out.
The man thanked the Oakey fire service who attended, as well as the emergency service crews who were on scene.
“From the callout, it only took them eight minutes to get here,” he said.
“They did a great job.”
Fire crews will not be investigating the incident.
