All Breeds Stud Cattle Heifer Show
This year’s All Breeds Stud Cattle Heifer Show held on Friday night at the annual Clifton Show proved to be another successful event.


The Grand Champion heifer, Branchview Ultimate V56F from Branchview Charolais at Dalby, was led by 12-years-old Jack Postle and won the Rod Frahm Memorial Trophy, 1000 litres of Anipro and a voucher from the Wheatsheaf Hotel at East Greenmount.
Young Jack Postle also received the Lauren Smith Memorial Trophy as leader of the Grand Champion heifer.
Chief Steward John McCarthy was very pleased with over 200 head of cattle nominated for the Cattle Section at the Clifton Show, 77 head being nominated for the Heifer Show.
Prize money totalled over $12,000.
Most successful exhibitor of the Cattle Section at this year’s show was jointly awarded to Gunnadoo Charolais (Matt Noller) and Rosehill Stud (John McCarthy), both exhibitors donating the 200 litre drum of oil contributed by Bartranz Petroleum to be auctioned, with proceeds going to Suddenly Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
The auction raised $1300.
