Allora P-10 State School 62nd Annual Awards Night

On Tuesday 25 November, the Allora P-10 State School acknowledged and celebrated the secondary students’ academic, sporting and cultural achievements, and farewelled the graduating class of 2025.


Principal Megan Rauchle presented the graduating Year 10 class with their Year 10 medallions: (L-R) JoJo, Luke, Claire, Grayson, Harrison, Brandon, Zavier, Chaylah, Karleigh, Grace, Belle, Orry, Harley, Mischa, Chalia, Abigail, Renee, Alex, Chloe, Emmanuel, Matilda, Dominic, Henry and Slade. Special presenters on the night were: (left) – Jenny Blashak and Councillor Carla Pidgeon; (centre) – Principal Megan Rauchle and (right) – Wayne Bennett.

The School extended extended a vote of thanks to Julie Garton for the beautiful flower arrangements and gratefully acknowledged the many local businesses and service clubs who continue to support the school through their generous sponsorship of awards.

At the Annual Awards night presentations were made by special guest speakers Wayne Bennett, Jenny Blashak, and Councillor Carla Pidgeon.

The evening was well attended by staff, families and community members.

Highlights of the night include the following awards:

Michael Butler Memorial Trophy for excellence in Track & Field – Lochlan Bain

Sportsperson of the Year award – Blake Rees

Instrumental Music Conductor’s award – Milo Pomana

Bob Deacon trophy for Community Service – Renee Osborne

The Mayor’s Medal – Matilda Rees

ADF Long Tan Leadership Award – Renee Osborne

Humanitarian Award – Renee Osborne

Lex Elwood Memorial Bursary – Chloe Partridge

Principal’s Encouragement Award – Brandon Coverdale

Pride of Achievement (Diligence) – Renee Osborne

Academic Excellence (Runner up to Dux) – Renee Osborne

Dux of Allora P-10 State School – Matilda Rees

Congratulations to Allora P-10 State School for another successful year with the students living up to their motto -

“Always our Best”
