Allora’s Productive Men’s Shed
Each week a happy group of blokes get together to enjoy each other's company while keeping their hands and minds busy.

The Allora Men’s Shed has about 30 members who meet at 16 Jubb Street any Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday morning.
An interesting project that’s currently underway concerns chickens.
From purchasing eggs, through to rearing baby chicks until they reach 12 weeks old when they are sold.
Housing the chicks is easy as the members have constructed the brooder and layer boxes and the chook pen out the back.
About 50 chickens are currently relishing the upmarket facilities.
Another worthwhile project is the supplying of kindling which is bagged and sold through their agent, Allora Hardware.
