Allora Show Society Fundraising Success
On Sunday, 11th May, the Allora Showgrounds was a sea of purple as 58 riders and 76 beautifully presented horses gathered to support a truly meaningful cause.

Across both Showjumping and Dressage, there was a total of 159 entries.
Funds raised went to Protea Place.
President of the Show Society Carol Lyall thanked businesses that supported the raffle, which helped to raise $4,500 in prizes across 14 multi-draws.
“We couldn’t create events like this without the generous support of both businesses and individuals.” Carol said.”
“We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our very first fundraising event for the prevention of Domestic and Family Violence has raised an incredible $2,055.
“A heartfelt thank you goes out to the amazing group of equestrian ladies who work tirelessly behind the scenes.”
Grandpa’s Army was also thanked for the unwavering support in setting up the dressage arenas.
The Show Society is reaching out to the community for help with the Showjumping set-up.
Maybe a community group to assist with the physical set-up, which does require a bit of muscle, as there’s lifting involved.
As a thank you, the Society is happy to give back by donating funds to your group.
If more than one group is interested the donation can be shared.
