Art Gallery’s new look
If you’ve visited the Pittsworth Art Gallery in Short Street recently, you would have noticed it looked a little different.
Members enjoyed some smoko in between art sessions with mentor Cecelia Krieg on Wednesday last at the gallery.
The gallery has been rearranged to allow for more space in the front, creating a more inviting entrance for visitors.
A variety of different artworks and mediums, all by locals artists, is now on display.
Founding member of the Pittsworth Art Group, June Graham, is the artist of the month for May.
Her work is predominantly depictions of country life in watercolour and oils.
There are more than 60 members in the art group, and skill levels vary.
New members are always welcome to join.
To visit the gallery, trading hours are 10am to 1pm, Wednesday through to Sunday.
