New South Wales may have made history with their first-ever Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Origin Series win in Sydney, but it was Athol’s very own Zane Hall who starred.

The 21-year-old delivered the highest individual score of the night and was crowned Event Winner, proving that while the Blues may have claimed the buckle, the biggest ride belonged to a Maroon.
Hall kept the crowd on edge, scoring a 85.50-point ride on War Drums in Round 1, going 2-for-2 in the long rounds and clocking the night’s highest score to keep Queensland in contention until the Championship Round.
Zane’s total of 170.50 points however was not enough to get Queensland over the line, losing 419.50 points to 500.25 points.
