School Principal Mr Keith Blaikie said all profits from the event will go directly toward building projects that will help St Patrick’s School grow and thrive well into the future.

The donation of $96,500 from the Pacific Seeds 88 to Educate Charity Campdraft is an extraordinary gift, and a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together.

Mr Blaikie reminded the school community of a timeless truth during the Pacific Seeds 88 to Educate Charity Campdraft.

A good quote can perfectly capture the essence of an experience and at the Campdraft Gala Dinner, one stood out:

“A society grows great when old men and women plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit.”

“This Greek proverb, rooted in Stoic philosophy, speaks to selflessness and long-term vision - taking actions today that benefit future generations, even without personal gain.

“In addition to bringing our school and district together, the primary goal of the Campdraft was to raise funds for future building projects at St Patrick’s School, Allora.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our organising committee, dedicated supporters and tireless volunteers, the event ran seamlessly.

“Over that weekend, we truly planted trees that will provide shade for generations to come,” Mr Blaikie said.
