It has now been twenty years since Louise and Chris Bazley established Can-Do Cottage at their Mt Molar property.

Can-Do Cottage provides a place to stay for people suffering from life-threatening illnesses, along-side their carers and families.

One of the many dozens of people who have stayed at Can-Do Cottage over the past twenty years is Jeanette Mockford from Brisbane.

Jeanette said she has been coming to Can Do Cottage since 2014.

“I was reading a magazine when I came across an ‘ad’ for cancer sufferers and their carers to stay at this cottage at Clifton free of charge,” Jeanette said.

“I investigated and we duly made our way to the beautiful cottage on a beautiful farm just out of Clifton.

“The views and vista before you go in the cottage are breathtaking.

“We have become friends over the years and nothing is too much trouble.

“After coming here in 2014 both my husband and I have had several bouts of cancer, being carers for each other.

“Can-Do Cottage is wonderful respite.”
