Car incinerated at Kings Creek

Firefighting crews had to work quickly to control a car engulfed by flames on Felton Clifton Road at Kings Creek last week.

Emergency services were alerted to the vehicle fire just before 11am last Thursday.

They arrived to find the vehicle engulfed in flames on the eastern side of Felton Clifton Road, just north of the junction with Bellview Road.

A Queensland Police spokesperson said the vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.

Firefighters from Clifton and Nobby quickly brought the blaze under control.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the driver of the vehicle, a male aged in his 30s, was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition having sustained significant head injuries.

The Queensland Police spokesperson said the incident is under investigation.
