An emergency call was made just after the fire ignited and quickly spread, from a shipping container.

Queensland Ambulance Service arrived at 7.30am and transported one patient to St. Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition with smoke inhalation.

At the peak of the blaze, large plumes of black smoke were coming from the shed.

Three Queensland Fire Department aerial pumpers, and a couple of support vehicles were required to quell the fire.

By 9am, the fire was under control. Crews remained on scene to support the QFD scientific unit which was investigating the contents of the shipping container.

Upon opening the main container, the product was found to be intact.
