Christmas in Pittsworth
There’s nothing like a celebration to bring a district together and this really shone through on Tuesday night when it seemed like everyone in the community joined the fun of Christmas in the Park at Pittsworth.
You may not believe it, but somewhere in there is the undoubted star of Tuesday night’s event - Santa Claus!
The organising committee of Pittsworth District Alliance had every right to be proud of the success of the annual event.
What was a respectable crowd as the night started at five o’clock grew into a massive gathering by the time Santa Claus arrived soon after 7pm.
The free rides were a real hit, while entertainers including singer Andrew Kucks and Cohen the Clown delighted the throng.
Those who manned the booths offering the range of food and refreshments on site were kept busy throughout the night.
Christmas in the Park certainly gave the town a great launch into Christmas 2023.
