Clifton State School hosts U8s Day
On Friday students from schools around the area converged on Clifton State School for a morning of fun!
Despite the rain, activities were easily held undercover and the day went ahead as planned.
Students from schools at Leyburn, Pilton, Allora, Emu Creek, Greenmount, and Clifton came together for a whole range of activities.
From important sessions on literacy and the role of emergency services, to games like sack races and some great dancing to ‘The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round’ from both staff and students.
There was some great creativity on display with students getting into craft activities and pulling together some wonderful pieces.
Staff from Bunnings were there to run a craft activity, students from Clifton State High School were also on hand to help facilitate and run activities and all round everyone had a great morning coming together for something a bit different to start a Friday.
Well done to Clifton State School for putting on such a great morning for all the little tackers!
