‘Condamine curse’ is persistent
The weed lippia continues to be the bane of farmers across the Condamine River catchment with no obvious solution to the problem.

Unlike other weeds (below), lippia (above) sucks the moisture out of the soil, reducing yields by up to 75 per cent.
