Disneyland Dancers
iDance Studios performers say they are looking forward to immersing themselves in a different culture and trying out different food when they head to Hong Kong Disneyland next week.

Friends, family and sponsors of the dancers were invited to the Olympia Theatre for a sneak 20 minute preview on Sunday night.
iDance’s talented troupe pulled out all the stops, wowing the audience with a series of twists, turns, kicks, splits and slides.
iDance Studios dancers will arrive in Hong Kong on Thursday next week, ahead of their main performance on Good Friday.
They will perform at three locations - Main Street in the Disneyland resort, at Ocean Park, and in Kowloon City.
It will be iDance’s fifth trip overseas following visits to Disneyland, California (2014, 2018 and 2024) and Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida (2016), but their first in Asia.
The trip has been booked through the ‘Dance Around the World’ travel agent.
When asked what they were most looking forward to in Hong Kong by dance instructor Alyssa, the overwhelming response from the dancers was the food followed by the culture.
One dancer, Holly said she is eager to meet the local sloth at Ocean Park.
Sponsors were thanked on Sunday, with Oakey Beef Exports being particularly acknowledged for opening the car park on a Sunday, and allowing iDance to practice their parade routine there, after scorching days and wet weather had interrupted initial preparation plans.
iDance Studios principal Carla Tierney said she was grateful for all the support the school had received.
“Our sponsors have made this incredible opportunity possible for us,” she said.
Judging by Sunday’s performance, the girls will do our district proud.
