Distressed Car Owner Following Crash
The 1979 C3 Corvette Stingray (pictured) was a stand-out exhibit at the Allora Heritage Weekend on Saturday.

Built in the USA, it was purchased by the current owner in 2020.
It took a whole year to bring the car up to Australian compliance.
Unfortunately the Chev Corvette is now a write-off.
After leaving the Allora Heritage Weekend on Saturday afternoon the owner of the Corvette Stingray was involved in a two car accident with a Mercedes on the New England Highway, near the junction with the Cambooya Connection Road.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
The two drivers, both males, and a male passenger from the Corvette were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital in Toowoomba.
All emergency services attended the accident with traffic disrupted for some time.
