Heritage Weekend President Graeme McMillan has been involved since the inaugural gathering in 1996 when a few blokes put their tractors at the Showgrounds as there was nowhere else to park them. The tractors drew a crowd at that time and since then has grown into a popular festival that’s become known Australia wide.

The 2026 Allora & District Heritage Weekend being held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January offers two action packed days of displays, demonstrations and swap meets.

Both days kick off at 6am with many eager visitors waiting at the gates to get in. Entry fees have remained the same - just $10 per adult with kids allowed in free.

Highlight of the weekend and a crowd pleaser will be the huge collection of Caterpillar and Case tractors, English Trucks, Vintage Utes and Land Rover Cars, International Engine and English Bikes.

This year will again see the Grand Parades happening throughout the weekend which gives the crowd a chance to have a sit under the trees and enjoy the spectacle. There will also be plenty of refreshments and food stalls available so you won’t go hungry.

Swap meets will start operating from 6am on both days.
People come from far and wide to exhibit their goods so there’s plenty to see, buy or swap.

Allora and District Days for Girls will be at the Heritage Weekend on Saturday 24 January selling raffle tickets in the multi-draw raffle for a prize a wheelbarrow packed with goodies.

The Allora Heritage Weekend will be held at the Allora Showgrounds on the New England Highway.
