Fatal crash at Umbiram
Emergency crews were called to Umbiram Road, at 7.50am on Tuesday after reports that a single car had crashed into a tree.
Police closed off Umbiram Road at Umbiram after a female driver’s vehicle slammed into a tree just before 8 o’clock on Tuesday morning.

Queensland Fire Department units were despatched just before 8am.
A female patient was found in a life-threatening condition but passed away at the scene.
Four crews ultimately attended and were still on site assisting police past 10am.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
Initial investigations indicate that the vehicle, a white Ford Falcon, left the roadway and crashed into the tree.

The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 31-years-old Southbrook woman, was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
