Flora reaches the Magic 100
Congratulations to Flora Knight who became a centenarian on Saturday 16 May 2026.
Celebrations were held at the Allora Nursing Home in Darling Street Allora where Flora was pampered by relatives, friends and staff.

The Allora Nursing Home certainly knows how to throw a party with decorations, balloons, live entertainment and of course the special birthday cake for Flora. Looking back at her life - Flora’s husband Keith Knight was a shearer from Victoria and Flora was a young lass from Glen Innes and worked at Mackenzies Store in Grey Street. This is where Keith met Flora and asked her out to a dance. Romance followed – they married and moved back to Victoria. Their son Darryl lives in Warwick so when his Dad and Mum retired they moved to Warwick where they lived for 26 years. Keith passed away over 10 years ago aged 90. About 18 months ago Flora moved to Allora and is enjoying her time at the Nursing Home with the wonderful staff.
