Ms Bauer, from Pittsworth, is exhibiting with Toowoomba artist Jo Eagle. The pair are both members of the Darling Downs Textiles Group which meets regularly in Toowoomba.

There is a strong focus on environmental themes in the exhibit with Ms Bauer remarking on her distaste for fruit stickers and throwaway plastics.

Through the exhibit, visitors to Rosalie Gallery can explore the delicate balance of life responding to a changing environment.

Since her former life as a school teacher at St Monica’s School in Oakey as well as at Cecil Plains State School,  Ms Bauer has been busy creating works of art.

Her exhibition, entitled A Delicate Balance, runs until Sunday 18th August.

Rosalie Gallery at 89 Mocatta Street, Goombungee is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm Wednesday to Sunday and closed on Monday, Tuesday and public holidays.

Entry is free for all visitors.
