Foundation Farm Field Days at Allora
Pacific Seeds Foundation Farm Field Days are returning next week to the Foundation Farm site just south of Allora on the Warwick/Allora Road.

Established in 2021 the Foundation Farm Field Days have proven to be an important information tool for grain growers throughout the region. This year the Foundation Farm field days offer an exciting new program of guest speakers, field walks, machinery demonstrations and research updates.
Tuesday 17th
Morning Session - Event opening, grower panel discussion, field walks, equipment demonstrations, and planter trials field walks. Demonstrations include: Rain 360 autonomous robotic irrigation system display plus Green on Green Sprayer demonstrations which use advanced precision agriculture systems using cameras and AI to identify individual weeds within a growing crop and spray only the weeds.
Afternoon Session-Research updates, field walks and demonstrations. Topics include: Growing quality corn silage, corn hybrid updates, grain sorghum hybrid and density updates and future of grain sorghum silage.
Wednesday 18th
Morning Session - Research updates, field walks and demonstrations. Topics include: growing quality corn silage, improving sorghum emergence. Demonstrations include: 360 RAIN autonomous robotic irrigation system display plus Green on Green Sprayers demonstrations which use advanced precision agriculture systems using cameras and AI to identify individual weeds within a growing crop and spray only the weeds.
Afternoon Session - Research updates, field walks and demonstrations. Topics include: Growing quality corn silage, managing and drying grain, corn hybrid updates, grain sorghum hybrid and density updates, future of grain sorghum silage, new herbicides for sorghum and corn, Precision Soil Lab, and improving spray efficiency for Fall Armyworm.
Thursday 19th
Morning Session - Research updates, field walks and demonstrations. Topics include: growing quality corn silage, improving sorghum emergence. All sessions commence at 8.30am with lunch at midday and networking drinks at 3pm each day.
