Garden Club’s trip to the zoo
Our April meeting was abandoned in favour of a bus trip with members and friends to the Darling Downs Zoo.
Meerkats cuddled up and cosy in the sun.
It was a perfect autumn day with most of the animals out and about enjoying the sunshine as well.
From snakes, monkeys and big cats and all animals in between the zoo, it was a wonderful place to spend some time relaxing and viewing the animals.
Thank you Stephanie for a lovely day and congratulations on the large number of animals.
On Tuesday, May 27th our meeting will be held at Rob and Joss Lock’s garden, commencing at 9.30am.
Please bring a chair if able, and a hat, cup, and plate to share.
We will meet at 9am at the Short Street bus stop and car pool to our venue.
Flower competition: three different red flowers.
