Give back this Christmas
The Clifton Lions are again this year seeking to spread the Christmas cheer through the gift of giving.
The Clifton Lions, including members Kay Nugent and Chris Martin, set up the tree last week.
Lion Bill Cameron said they are looking for gifts of non-perishable items such as food and any sort of present that would be appreciated.
The giving tree this year is located inside the Clifton Courier office at 77 King Street.
Gifts can be brought in at any time during office hours Monday to Friday from now until Wednesday, 17 December.
The gifts will then be collected and distributed to families in the Clifton district that need them.
The Clifton Lions have also been busy preparing for their free event, Santa in the Park, taking place on Friday, 12 December from 5pm to 8pm.
