Good turn out at seniors morning tea
The third edition of the Seniors Devonshire Tea event saw Clifton’s St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Hall play host a large gathering of Clifton locals and out-of-towners.
Those who attended included many familiar faces around town as well as a minibus of women from Beauaraba Living in Pittsworth.
On the day, $175 was raised, which the attendees as a group decided to donate to Clifton Community Health Services for the Clifton Meals on Wheels service, something which people agreed is important.
The first two editions were held at Greenmount and Pilton halls.
The next Seniors Devonshire Tea (and hoy) will be held at Cambooya Hall in conjunction with Cambooya Friendship Club on Wednesday 20 October.
The entry cost is $3 and carers are free.
