Grass fire burning near Nobby
Multiple Queensland Fire Department crews are battling a vegetation fire to the south of Nobby's township.
The Queensland Fire Department has issued a 'Stay Informed' warning for the area between Menzies Road, Richards Road, Nobby Connection Road and Mount Kent Boundary Road.
A QFD spokesperson said a 000 call was received at 2:30pm reporting a vegetation fire along Felton Clifton Road.
The QFD spokesperson said power poles appeared to be under threat at the time of the call. No structures appear to be under threat.
As of 4pm on Monday afternoon, ten QFD crews are at the scene and a further three have been tasked to attend.
The fire is on both sides of Felton Clifton Road between Clifton and Nobby and on the southern side of the road towards Felton.
Smoke is affecting road visibility.
