High Schoolers donate toy boxes to Lifeline
In a display of Christmas spirit, Oakey State High School students have arranged for a box of gifts to be sent to children impacted by the bushfires in Tara this year.

The effort was led by student James Cowling who thought it would provide some cheer to those in need.
“We did have 20-21 gifts, but we had some more come in from our major donor, so I’m not sure how many are there,” he said.
The gifts were gratefully accepted by the Lifeline Oakey team, and will be delivered to their store in Tara.
