Jondaryan dump closed due to damage
Jondaryan’s Waste Management Facility was closed for two weeks due to damage caused by a Council contractor.

Toowoomba Regional Council’s Waste Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Melissa Taylor said the site was closed due to damaged infrastructure.
“Unfortunately, a third party has caused damage to the gatehouse and associated weighbridge infrastructure at the Jondaryan Waste Management Facility. This damage has resulted in the facility’s temporary closure,” Cr Taylor said.
“However, interim repairs have commenced and should be complete by the first week of September allowing the facility to reopen. Whilst the Jondaryan Waste Management Facility is closed, residents can visit the TRC website to find alternate waste facilities close to them."
