Junior Tennis breakup
Last Tuesday, the Pittsworth Junior Tennis players had their end of year breakup.
We had an enjoyable afternoon with some fun games, a few presentations and afternoon tea.
There were about 28 kids for the afternoon and many of the parents with only a few missing the breakup.
We presented one medallion to Toni Levya for her technique and one to Zyruss Abelleja for his enthusiasm.
Toni worked hard this year to try and play her ground strokes with good technique and Zyruss was always early and couldn’t wait to get out hitting some balls.
Other players to receive a prize were Mitchell Krinke, and Remi and Sadie Fitzgerald.
Congratulations to all the players who came this year.
You are a great bunch of kids and it’s good to see you trying hard and learning new skills.
Many thanks to the parents who brought the kids along to tennis and the help you gave during the year, and for helping make the afternoon tea a great day.
I would especially like to thank Chris Gordon and Hedley Eulenstein for your help this year.
Your assistance and willingness to give the kids this opportunity was invaluable.
This week we are playing the last senior fixture game for the year and the finals will start next week.
Players please remember our Christmas breakup and pizza night will be held on the 7th December starting at 2pm with social tennis.
