Kind donation from Student Council
The damage caused by November’s hail storm spurred on this year’s donation by a local primary school’s Student Council.

The Clifton State School Student Council raises funds each year to spend on the school and students.
“Each year we make a donation to a charity as well,” a school spokesperson said.
“This year we heard that the Clifton branch of the CWA were wanting to turn the back area of the premises into a laundromat for the community.
“They said many families don’t have a washing machine or dryer and that some families also lost these items in the storm.
“We donated $400 and we loved that it was going towards helping the community of Clifton.”
