Large attendance is expected at ‘Box’s’ funeral
A large crowd is expected for the funeral of Oakey RSL sub-branch Vice-President Lucas ‘Box’ Hargreaves, which will be held next Tuesday morning (November 18th) 11am at the Oakey Cultural Centre.

Mr Hargreaves, a well-liked local truck driver, died in a crash on his regular work route to Rockhampton.
“It is with the deepest heartache that we let our community know our sub-branch vice president, fellow veteran and all-around great mate Lucas Hargreaves has passed away,” a sub-branch spokesperson said.
“Our deepest condolences to his beautiful family.
“He was an incredible man, and our community will forever have a box-sized hole from his absence.
“We’ll miss you, big fella. Fly high. Lest we forget.”
