Local man arrested for break and enter offences
A 43-years-old Oakey man has been charged by police following multiple alleged break and enter offences across the Darling Downs over the past five weeks.

Police will allege the man committed offences at service stations, a grocery store, a takeaway business, a real estate agent and car and truck dealerships between Saturday June 14th to Monday July 21st in Wilsonton, Withcott, Jondaryan, Harristown and South Toowoomba.
It is alleged that during each incident, the offender forced entry into each business and stole items including cash, credit cards, electronic devices, a laptop, groceries and cigarettes.
In one of the incidents, on Sunday June 29th, it is alleged an ATM was stolen from the Ampol service station at Jondaryan.
Around 1.40am on 21 July it is alleged the man broke into a takeaway store on Boundary Road at Wilsonton and was attempting to leave the scene when he was arrested by police and taken into custody.
The 43-years-old man has been charged with eight counts of entering premises with intent to commit, two counts of willful damage and attempted fraud, and one count each of attempting to enter premises with intent to commit an offence, possessing by night an instrument of house breaking, possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property, and fraud.
He has been released on bail and is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 19th.
