Locals at the Toowoomba Show
It was a big weekend for locals at the Royal Toowoomba Show, with Oakey State High’s Angora Goat Young Judges in action and several award winners from the Goombungee-Haden Show Society.

Four generations of the Haaijer/Goudie family were on hand to assist Oakey State High School’s Angora Goat Young Judges.
Students judged the goats on their stances, body structures and the quality of their fleeces.
Goombungee-Haden Show Secretary Kylie Welke took out the Champion and Reserve Champion categories for Sweets, while Diane Welke won the Grand Champion Rose.
Meanwhile, there were some big wins for locals in the Poultry and Cagebird competitions.
Chloe Jannusch took home the Grand Champion Bird of the Show, while Shaun Jannusch won Reserve Champion Bird of the Show.
