The bus departed outside the Pittsworth Function Centre just after 8am.

The first stop of the morning was the historic homestead and gardens of "Rivoli Farm" near Allora.

The homestead was designed by acclaimed architect Robin Dods.

It was originally built at the corner of Sandgate and London Road in Clayfield, Brisbane in 1897 as a residence and surgery.

The house was later used as a ward by the adjacent Turrawan hospital before being moved to Deuchar in 1980.

A visit to "Scotchmans Hill" came next, then "Melrose Station" at Killarney.

Melrose Station is a working property with picture-perfect scenery from every corner of its iconic gardens.

It is also a popular wedding venue.

A standout at Killarney's "Montview" was the unique roses, landscaped gardens on the picturesque backdrop of the Condamine River, and beautiful mountains beyond.

The final garden of the day was settled into the foothills of The Falls Drive at Killarney - "RiverRun Homsetead".

The gardens on the property were immaculate and situated just before the road to Daggs Falls Lookout and Queen Mary Falls.

The $85 paid by each passenger for the day was well worth it, and included morning tea and lunch.

It was a big day for all who attended, with the bus only returning to Pittsworth after 6 in the evening.
