Lucy St Park open to the public
New equipment, seating and paths at Lucy Street Park in Cambooya are now open to use following massive $634,000 upgrades by Toowoomba Regional Council.
Exercise equipment in the form of a ‘fitness station’ is among the new features at Lucy Street Park.
Toowoomba Regional Council Parks and Recreation Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Tim McMahon said the Lucy Street Park has recently undergone a $634,431 significant upgrade which delivered a wide range of new and improved facilities for the community.
“Toowoomba Regional Council upgraded the park grounds to include additional play equipment such as a new basketball half court, fitness station with surrounding soft fall surfacing, connecting pathways, improved landscaping and a new barbecue facility,” Cr McMahon said.
“Council acknowledges all those who worked on delivering the project for their dedication and hard work.”
