Peter Glenn’s family had possession of war medals for a long time believed to be from his grandfather, Vincent Gower Davis.

Mr Glenn said upon taking the medals to a specialist, the name of their true owner was found.

Mr Glenn enlisted the help of Evan Jones to help find the family of Norman Tudberry from Pilton and not long after a living relation was found, great nephew, Simon Wilshire of Clifton.

Mr Wilshire said he will hold on to the medals until he can hand them over to Mr Tudberry’s granddaughters.
