Meet the Toowoomba Regional Council candidates
There are a few opportunities to find out more about Toowoomba Regional Council candidates ahead of the election on Saturday, 16 March.
Wednesday, 6 March, the Oakey Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Meet the Candidates event at the Oakey RSL from 6pm.
On Thursday, 7 March, the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidates Forum at The Atrium | Clifford Park from 5pm to 9pm.
The Atrium is also hosting the Darling Downs Regional Alliance Mayoral Candidate Breakfast on Tuesday, 12 March from 6.45am to 8.30pm.
Further afield, events are scheduled in Crows Nest, Yarraman and Millmerran over the next fortnight.
A Meet and Greet was held in Pittsworth last week and two candidates forums have already taken place in Highfields.
As of this stage there are no events scheduled for the Westbrook and Cambooya areas however individual candidates may be seen out and about.
On election day, voters have ten councillors to choose from 27 candidates and one mayor to choose from two candidates.
