Members of Allora Scope invited to Government House
Government House recently welcomed members of the Youngcare Australia community for a special reception marking 20 years of advocacy and support for young Australians with physical disabilities.

Allora’s Daph Whatley, who was one of the founders of Youngcare, was honoured to be invited by the Governor along with others who were involved in the foundation of the organisation.
The event was an opportunity to recognise the many families, volunteers, donors, and partners whose dedication has underpinned Youngcare’s progress over the past two decades.
Youngcare has made a significant contribution to improving the lives of young people, specifically those between the ages of 18 and 65 with high physical support needs.
The organisation has delivered 20 purpose-built homes, provided over $12.3 million in grant funding, and assisted more than 64,000 individuals through Youngcare Connect.
These efforts reflect a commitment to dignity, choice, and inclusion.
Youngcare appreciates the efforts of volunteers such as Daph who helps raise funds for this worthy cause.
