Millmerran Campdraft raises funds for a good cause
The Millmerran Campdraft was held on 5th, 6th and 7th September raising funds for Cecil Plains Anglicare and the Millmerran Hospital Auxiliary.

There was no time for horsing around as the event kicked off at 9am sharp on Friday with 220 individual competitors.
There were 1004 campdraft runs for 11 events including an open draft, ladies draft, novice A and B drafts, maiden A and B drafts, restricted open draft, encouragement draft, juvenile draft (13-17 years), junior draft (8-13 years) and mini draft (under 8 years).
About 1350 head of cattle were supplied for the campdraft by the McNamee family of Lemontree Feedlot, the Millar family, MacQuarie Wagyu, the Atthow family of Sevenangle Droughtmaster Stud, the Antonio family and D. A. Hall & Co.
On Sunday, competitors, volunteers and spectators were asked to wear pink or yellow for cancer awareness.
This stemmed from the passing of former committee members Sue Moffatt and Glen Sorensen (founding committee member) who died within the last year from cancer.
There was a minute’s silence in memory of the two members.
The winners of each event were: Open - Jason Martin, Ladies - Jade Edmondstone, Novice A - Ty Blokland, Novice B - Luke Collman, Maiden A - Wade Clarke, Maide B - Jenna McCall, Restricted open - Terry Dwan, Encouragement - Melissa Purnell, Juvenile - Matilda Bostock and Junior - Abbie O’Dempsey.
All the Mini competitors received a prize.
The Highest Individual Score by Local Rider/Committee Member was Doug Cover.
The Most Successful Rider of the weekend was Wade Clarke.
The Highest Average for the weekend over 5 runs was Jason Bishoff.
