My Dad’s the Best
Matthew Denny brings home Gold after his stellar performance at the Commonwealth Games. Matthew threw 67.73m in difficult conditions to beat Jamaica’s Fedrick Dacres (65.10) and his English training partner Lawrence Okoye (64.45). The win makes him the first man in 68 years to defend a Commonwealth Games discus title.
Matthew celebrated with his son Roman in his arms as they did a victory lap to say thank to the crowd and to his beautiful wife Mia.
