Oakey kid hits the bullseye at Clifton benchrest competition
Oakey student Nathaniel Knight won the individual rifle shoot at the Clifton High’s benchrest shooting competition.
Rifle winner Nathaniel Knight with Thomas Heyze who came fifth.
Teams in attendance were Allora, Concordia Lutheran College, St. Joseph’s College, Dalrymple Creek, Toogoolawah High, Pittsworth High, Oakey, Allora/Clifton combined, C.B.S.C Juniors, Clifton High and Toowoomba Anglican School.
Oakey’s best hopes had favourable conditions in the rifle competition, with little wind giving 70 rifle shooters little to think about.
