Pittsworth and Millmerran team up as cricket resumes
A combined Millmerran-Pittsworth (South) side was unable to beat a combined Kulpi-Bowenville (North) side in a 40-over match at Millmerran on Saturday. Both teams paid tribute to Bowenville President Jason Lee’s mother Gail, who died last week.

The North XI chased down 160 to win by 6 wickets.
Captain Corey Dioth top scored with a fifty and was ably supported by Tim Tighe.
For South, Jordan O’Shea took two wickets and Brett Wilson also bowled well.

Earlier, Ben Canavagh had led the way for South XI with a fifty, but apart from Sam McGinn, was not backed up.
Jeremy Tighe and Alind Roy were in the wickets.
Both teams wore black armbands in respect of Gail Lee, mother of Jason.
