It was the biggest fundraising event of the year, supporting the vital work of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.

It was a full day of family fun, with fantastic activities for all ages, delicious food, and a vibrant market showcasing local producers and makers.

Primary schools were invited to participate in the Great Scarecrow Challenge.

The Prep students and teachers from Bunker’s Hill State School created a masterpiece called Prickly Polly.

Prickly Polly was voted the winner from 17 scarecrows that were on display at the Springs Day Out.

The school won a voucher for $500 to spend at The Springs.

Thanks to our school community for coming along and voting for Prickly Polly.

Prickly Polly was made up of a mixture of recycled materials and succulent plants from the school grounds.

She was created to help also showcase The Succulent Fest, held last Sunday.
