Ramsay bikes, tracks and gardens
It's an exciting time at Ramsay State School as students and teachers prepared their display for the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and students from Prep and Year 1 insisted on having their picture taken in front of their display.

Equally exciting is the State Government grant of $100,000 the school has received to build a mountain bike track and a cement training track on the school grounds.
In oder to receive the grant, the school must raise $49,000 and we are almost half way there with the P&C and school having already raised $20,000.
A trivia night is planned for November 22nd so lovers of quiz nights pencil that one in to help keep fund raising “on track”.
The facility is dual purpose as it will be open for community use.
In a further stroke of good fortune, the school’s Physical Education teacher, Fiona Denooyer just happens to be a qualified bike coach whose daughter is an internationally ranked mountain bike competitor.
Students will benefit from top level coaching from Fiona on how to brake, change gears, balance and stay safe.
No wonder the school is abuzz with excitement.
