Ramsay on the right track

Over $6,000 raised, including over $3,000 from a single family, will go a long way towards Ramsay State School’s efforts to build a bike track.

Mums, dads and of course kids were all on hand to help out at Ramsay State School P&C sausage sizzle held during the fundraising clearing sale.

The Ramsay State School P&C thanked all its wonderful volunteers at a recent local clearing sale, where the funds were raised.

Parents, students and community members assisted in so many ways, with cooking and serving on the day, setting up and making lovely homestyle cooking to sell.

The school’s P&C, students and staff are very thankful to Noel and Karen Grant for their contribution of $3,300 and the GDL auctioneers for their generous contribution of $2000 towards the new bike track.

The generosity of these people is the epitome of community spirit.

The P&C members thanked them from the bottom of their hearts.

Not only did the P&C receive these generous cash contributions but both have donated back to the school P&C, the Yamaha TTR50 so it can be raffled off to raise more funds for our bike track.

Keep your eyes peeled for raffle tickets next term as this will make an amazing Christmas present!

Thank you to “Narrow Leaf” for the donation of the Yamaha Peewee50.
